Who We Are
GEC began with a systematic convergence of expertise, environmental urgency, and strategic leadership, spearheaded by the council board members, whose careers are deeply rooted in promoting green technologies and sustainable business practices at the global level, and have, notably, identified that a significant gap exists in the markets - a lack of a cohesive, expert-led approach to environmental advocacy and education.

The Green Expertise Council (GEC) is a non-profit organisation that serves as a collaborative network uniting experts from various sectors to elevate environmental awareness, empower skills and competency, and ensure the qualifications of those leading the charge toward a sustainable future. At its core is a network of environmentally committed professionals consisting of green philanthropists, university faculty, economist, senior executives at reputed names in the green energy space and ESG leaders, whose thought leadership in the green economy significantly shaped the council's vision and missions.
GEC assists its members, and partners, by providing valuable insights on in-demand skills and corporate success strategies, and connecting/positioning them to embark on a sustainable trajectory forward.
By integrating valuable insights and market acumen, GEC strategically positioned itself to not only influence environmental practices but also to integrate sustainability into the core strategic framework of industries and regulatory bodies, with the ultimate aim to accelerate Singapore’s transition to a green economy, and as Asia’s Green Hub.
